About the Institute

Portuguese Institute, O Instituto Portugues, was established in July 2001. It operates in Bratislava, Košice, and Banská Bystrica. The mission of the Portuguese Institute is to promote the Portuguese language and culture and to participate in building alliances between Slovakia and Portuguese-speaking countries.
